About Feifei Xiao

Dr. Feifei Xiao joined in the Department of Biostatistics as Associate Professor with the Artificial Intelligence Initiative in 2022. Dr. Xiao’s research mainly focuses on the development and application of novel and applicable statistical methods for real data problems arising from modern genetics and genomics data, such as single-cell sequencing, spatial multi-omics datasets. Dr. Xiao is interested in exploring the advantages of machine learning methods and approaches in public health related outcomes, especially in handling these modern genomics data. Dr. Xiao works on chromosomal copy number variation analyses, integrative analysis of ‘omics’ data (such as SNPs, DNA methylation and transcriptomics), and cancer research. She enjoys taking her toddler and dog to hiking and parks at personal time.
